Hello everyone. January has seemed to role straight into February. Much the same as last month. It has been full on, dealing with day to day operations, project works, commercial responses’, visiting current clients and potential new clients. Building up relationships both within DL and with existing clients.

My boss has returned but there seems to be no let up, with each day so much different from the last. At least it keeps me “off the streets” but at the weekends I just want to rest. Keeping my mind on work, when at work, is difficult this month with my eldest having surgery on his knee but he had a successful op and now is on a very long road to recovery.

Next month you should see some changes to the website formatting and a new interface experience. I will also be returning to the UK to get a new Work Visa and get vacinated.

Jan 2021 – New Year and New Beginnings’

Hello All, apologies for not writing for so long but a lot has changed in 2019. I left HPE and now have joined Datalink Data Link | Infrastructure Service Specialist and FSCom FSCOM | Guaranteed Uptime for your Business, still based in Riyadh but now advising both companies on FM and Property Management. DL are specialist and have huge expertise in the design, construction and O&M of Datacenters’.

January has been a bit of a roller coaster, with my boss out of the country, I was getting my head around not just the day to day operations, commercial, business partners and suppliers but also getting to know how DL works internally.

Week 33

Hello everyone and the end of week 33

I visited Lorna’s boss this week and delivered my proposal. After some small changes and a second issue via email, I will be visiting his office again tomorrow to sign a contract, to provide Strategic FM policies and creating a FM division for the hospital. This week I will start to put all of the deliverables together as the first stage of a three part FM implication, and commissioning project. Continued to work on the HSE documents for STC and visited the first of ten sites in Riyadh implementing the documents and procedures actually on the sites.

Week 32

I visited Lorna’s Hospital on Saturday and will visit again tomorrow. During my off time have been writing a IFM Proposal for the hospital. This week continued to work on the HSE documents for STC and HPE. Some good news I received word from my boss that my work for STC/HPE has been extended for another three months up to Christmas, just waiting for final written confirmation.

Week 31

I was in Jeddah on Sunday and Monday, delivering the HSE training package and it looks like I will have to deliver it again once the role out of the documents is completed.
